Letter to PCE Parents Re: Family Care Application Requirement

Earlier last month, the New Jersey Legislature approved the State Budget effective July 1, 2005. This budget provides the funding to the Division of Child Behavioral Health Services (DCBHS) through which the Partnership for Children of Essex receives funding.
This new budget requires that all children and families receiving services through the DCBHS complete a full application for Medicaid/NJ Family Care. Even if you are found not eligible for Medicaid/NJ Family Care, as long as you complete this application your services will continue. If you do not complete this application, you will be required to pay for the services your child and family receive.
Please contact your Care Manager to determine whether an application needs to be completed and to obtain assistance in completing the application. The application must be completed as soon as possible after receipt of this letter.
